Pete’s dragon is stylized realism, with tuning sensibility and one in which everything looks too good to be true including the stunning video digital animated dragon himself.

Pete’s Dragon is the latest life-action and animation combo even dragon is the only animated character in the movie. The plot of the movie is about the young orphaned boy Pete who grew up in the middle of the forest with the Dragon, to whom he started to call Elliott.

I am sure that you will absolutely enjoy this movie, this is what a kid’s adventure should be like. The movie starts out and the very first scene is featuring quite dark. This movie went to some dark places, but normally in a Disney movie when a movie starts and it goes to some dark places you know that there will be some emotional playback, you know that this will gravitate you towards a very satisfying emotional place and it absolutely did.

The first act of the film is just the friendship between the little boy and the Dragon Elliott and it is fabulous and so adorable, the great thing about the movie is you could show the first act to virtually everyone, there is no dialogue what so ever. It’s just a visual storytelling and you absolutely find the friendship between the boy and the dragon, which is cute.

The second act is when the Bryce Dallas Howard and all the other characters come to play and it does slow the movie down a little bit, but it never grind it down to a whole.

The cast does their best to have fun with their characters and, as such, contributes greatly to the light-hearted tone of the film. First of all that little boy chills it, he is awesome. Disney again proves that they are good with child actors. That little boy is great. Bryce Dallas Howard is good in the movie and she delivers emotional place of her character. She is just a very good person, she care about people and she cares about that little boy. Robert Redford is an amazing actor. In this movie he is like a most sympathetic grandpa that he could ever imagined. In particular, the villains are played with great, over-the-top gusto, which is exactly what is needed in a kid’s movie.

The best thing about the movie was Elliott, itself the dragon. This CGI animated dragon was a fabulous character. That creature looks amazing, so many emotions are drawn from this CGI character. You absolutely understand his love for the boy, you understand when his heart broken, when he is terrified, when he is happy and when he is little bit clumsy and doesn’t understand civilization, which sometimes leads to him being angry. Every time he works perfectly.

The story is built in such a way that we desperately want to believe, the result is years one of the most delightful movie with full of surprises. This is a quality family film that reverts young people’s imagination and reminds us of the time when Disney movie meant something mainly wholesome entertainment that inspired confidence in parents and reinforce solid American values.

This movie will not scare your kids because it’s completed with a beautiful moral. On the all it was very satisfying cinematic experience. Don’t forget to watch.
